An issue that matters to me is [youth] leadership. As I observed the leadership pursuits of my peers, I saw how easily good intentioned-leaders became corrupted leaders, and how charismatic leaders became narcissistic. Some leaders that I admire in history are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela who not only voiced the many injustices against people of African descent, but who also called for equality for all. I believe that life, especially human life is God's most beautiful creation. It doesn't matter how long a person lives, what matters is how that person lives. I am heavily inspired by my maternal grandmother who told me how important this life is, how to face failures and how to deal with happiness. Everyone loves success, but only few people know the importance of failures. A person who knows the taste of failure can only define that taste if and when they reach success. I was truly inspired...
